USMC Day!

by xaviahxx

Cover by rawrstar

On November 10th 1775, the United States Marine Corps (USMC) was created within the United States Department of the Navy by orders from the Second Continental Congress. Since then, the USMC has celebrated 247 years of service to the United States! Formalities surrounding this day officially commenced on November 10th, 1921, and is usually celebrated with a cake-cutting ceremony where Marines are expected to walk in with their most polished shoe forward. Around the United States, a variety of celebrations can take place! Some bases choose to include fun activities such as field and water sports, sham battles, and shooting matches!

As mentioned, cake-cutting ceremonies were prevalent events for USMC birthday celebrations, and at present, a Birthday Ball carries on this tradition. Furthermore, the USMC has created many traditions surrounding this day, one including the cake! The first slices of cake are generally handed out to the guest of honor, the oldest, and youngest Marines attending the ball!

At USDF, our very own Marines hosted their Marine Corps Ceremonial Ball with an extended invitation to allies and VIPs of USDF! Featured, was a birthday cake, a nostalgic show-and-tell of favourite memories in the Marines, and a USMC History Trivia! The room also displayed uniforms, as CMC midgetbella told me, that were the uniforms worn in Branch Wars 2021 – Danger Zone by Marianna. The Marines Corps strives towards holding a close-knit community as a core component to their branch, and the celebration of the United States Marine Corps’ 247th birthday is another memory many can share amongst each other.

The Marines Corps at USDF was established on the 3rd of April 2015 with -Pinoy as its first Commandant of the Marine Corps (CMC)! It was the second branch established at USDF, followed by the Army and then the Air Force. The branch saw its first Branch Wars win in 2016, followed by victories in 2021 and 2022, and there is a feeling there is more to come! Through personal experience and conversations, the mantra of the Marine Corps has included the need to maintaining a tight-knit community within the branch for a long time now. It is what makes the Devil Dogs a pack to keep clear of!

Thank you for reading this article of The Libertarian, and to the Marines at USDF – “OOH-RAH” to a splendid Ceremonial Ball with all the wholesomeness and nostalgia attached for all attendees to enjoy.

Office Spotlight – Office of Manpower & Personnel

By Metalswimos1

Cover by IvyCharleston

Office of Manpower and Personnel (OMP) – E5+: OMP Personnel are the supervisors of all USDF manpower tasks and are responsible for managing promotions, reinstatements and transfers. Amongst educating personnel through the many feats they’re allowed to host, the members also update the PTS and MPTS for the entirety of USDF and make sure people don’t make MPTS errors. Additionally, one of OMP’s jobs is monitoring USDF statistics such as HQ population.

1. Out of all offices, why did you choose OMP?

Criminalities: I chose OMP after doing about a week in OPA first. It’s a great office, but OMP appealed to me because of the different jobs it does on/off client so I decided to give it a try.

Carbondr: At first I was in OJFD, but then there was someone who gave me a push to apply for OMP.

Zemriil: Before joining OMP, I was left in a position with little direction and no expectations. I wanted to try something new, and by that point I had been in almost every office except OMP, so I naturally thought I would try it out. Boy do I regret waiting as long as I did, OMP is the first office I joined where I truly felt at home, it was as though every office before OMP was a fever dream and this was where I was meant to be. The kind community, the huge variety of tasks to complete, and the sense of responsibility it gave me was truly something else.

Dwayne1231: I chose OMP because it has always been a home of mine. I originally joined OMP back in 2018 on the basis that OMP is a competitive office which was comprised of very talented and regulation oriented people which was kinda my thing.

TheWelshBanana: I joined OMP because my friend was in it and I planned to go AWOL but I couldn’t! I loved everyone too much.

wolfiemai:  I’ve been interested in OMP since I started the mentorship program and I wanted an office which you are with a lot of people. I also like to work behind the scenes instead of doing tasks which are needed in public.

2. What do you enjoy doing in OMP?

criminalities: I like the transfer aspect of OMP the most because you get to hear about people’s different experiences and offer them the chance to gain more experience in USDF. It’s also good getting to know forums and PTS in more depth.

Carbondr: I really enjoy doing MPTS shifts, like updating the MPTS and PTS. It’s a lot of fun!

Zemriil: Quite literally every aspect of it, sure there are some parts that can feel like a drag, but knowing that everything I do will result in the betterment of OMP and USDF is all worth it.

Dwayne1231: In OMP I would say my favorite thing to do is being involved with the people whom transfer to USDF, one of those people being coolchick1313 whom I transferred into USDF. Interacting with and helping to educate transfers and USDF personnel is just a great joy!

TheWelshBanana: Oh! I love that it’s never the same! Like we can do transfers/update mpts/ reinstatements / pop stats / feats like; there’s a variety!

Wolfiemai: The thing which I’m enjoying the most is being with other members of the office.

3. What lessons have you learnt in OMP?

Criminalities: I have learned a lot about communication in OMP since we need to give a lot of information to selectees when they first sign up and while they complete their transfer journey.

Carbondr: Always pay attention to details and ensure you are putting the right information.

Dwayne1231: In OMP I have learned A LOT about regulations, as aforementioned we do a lot of work on forums and a lot of our work is not subject to free will, almost everything has an exact way that it is supposed to be done.

Wolfiemai: Having responsibility about some topics within OMP.

4. What is a common misconception about OMP?

Criminalities: I think a common misconception about OMP is that our role is limited, but we do a lot behind the scenes to keep USDF running smoothly and I think that should be appreciated more.

Zemriil: A lot of people think that because our work is behind the scenes, that our impact is not seen. But this is absolutely not true, every one of our duties directly affects the daily operations and wellbeing of USDF personnel and the impact our work has is part of what makes OMP so great.

Dwayne1231: I’d say a common misconception about OMP is that people seem to think that there is a better office than OMP??

5. Who is a person in OMP you look up to and why?

Criminalities: I look up to scolionophobia because they do a good job while also having have a sense of humour which makes OMP a better place to be.

Carbondr: connfusion, she’s been a friend since my time here at USDF. She’s helped me a lot and given me that push I needed to be better. If there was anyone I’d look up to, it would be her.

Dwayne1231: Someone that I look up to in OMP would have to be either MIsterShine, or Ace:.Samantha:., Sam was instrumental in my reinstatement process, and was able to help me readjust to USDF after a four year absence. MIsterShine was my mentor in OMP and is an all around stand out kinda guy and is really informative when I need him.

6. What’s your favourite memory about OMP?

Criminalities: I haven’t been in OMP that long but there were some funny moments during OMPTA which are nice to look back on.

Zemriil: Honestly, every single one of them. The fact that all OMP members make it feel like a home is something that makes me so proud.

Dwayne1231: My favourite memory in OMP was becoming a W2 while being a member of OMP everyone was very supportive and made a conducive environment for growth.

TheWelshBanana: Honestly, just the people! We all literally have a laugh xD. It’s great.

7. Why should people choose OMP?

Criminalities: I think OMP is a great community with lots of opportunities which suit different types of people. If you want to be made to feel welcome in an office then OMP is an excellent choice.

Carbondr: I wouldn’t really say they should choose OMP, but they should at least give it a try. It’s a really good office that can teach you a lot.

Dwayne1231: OMP forces you to get oriented with forums and regulations which is vital to your progression in USDF.

Thanksgiving: Turkey Talk

By Gumby

Cover by IIChloeII

Happy Thanksgiving, Pilgrim!

Gather around the table!
It is time to be thankful for the harvest and blessing we have received this past year! Did you know that Thanksgiving was modeled after the 1621 harvest feast by the pilgrims of Plymouth and Wampanoag people? This means Thanksgiving has been celebrated for over 400 years! What are some of your favorite traditions and practices during this time of the year? As well, what is your importance of Thanksgiving?

For many people, Thanksgiving is a holiday that brings family and friends together. Plenty of food is made for a feast. Ironically speaking, I always think of Pastor Shirley Ceasar’s ‘You Name It’ sermon. You know, the beans, greens, tomatoes, potatoes. That remix was a bop, look it up if you do not know what I am talking about. As far as the many people that celebrate this holiday we are all aware turkey is usually a main staple in the meal. Some others have informed me that ham is another choice of preference, as well as barbecue brisket for some others.

Sides, anyone? What kinds of sides do you like to have with your Thanksgiving meal? I hear mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, collard greens, and many others are very popular. Is this making you hungry like it makes my boss hungry? Breaking bread with others is always fun. As seen lately in trends, croissants and rolls have become stars of late. Freshly made is always great if you have the time for that. That is applied to all of the food.

Time for dessert! Pies are pretty standard desserts at Thanksgiving. Some sides can also be considered as a dessert as well. Sweet potatoes can be done as a pie! Many variations of pies are done for this holiday, as well as cheesecake, believe it or not. Pudding, parfaits, and so-called fluffs, like a pistachio fluff salad. Here’s a recipe for that.

Pistachio Fluff Salad

Ingredients

2 boxes (3.4 ounces each) JELL-O Instant Pistachio pudding mix

1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple

16-ounce Cool Whip, thawed

1 bag (10 ounces) of mini marshmallows

maraschino cherries, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Get a large mixing bowl, and combine the pudding mix with the crushed pineapple. Spongebob did not pay his rent.
  2. Slay it with a wooden spoon until the pudding mix is blended with pineapple juices and remains.
  3. Throw in Cool Whip and mini marshmallows. Then tornado that up as well, gently.
  4. Wrap it or cover it and refrigerate for 4 hours, or overnight. Don’t forget to kiss it goodnight overnight.
  5. Optional, serve with maraschino cherries as a garnish to make it look pretty. Alternatively, you can mix the cherries to the fluff right before serving.

    ENJOY!

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving or a good day last 24th. Always spend time with your loved ones and be thankful for the blessings that have happened this past year. Stay warm and keep it 100. Mariah Carey’s season is around the corner. I don’t want a lot for Christmas!

When I Fall

When I Fall

It’s not a matter of if, but of when…

***

Dimitri stood there, staring at Azaleea, with an expression that held so much emotion – happiness, pride, wonder but most of all love. A love that far outdone that of the other Gods, a love that would withstand the tests of time and last into eternity. No matter what they would go through, whether it be pain, anger, loss or whatever else got screwed up along the way, their love would always hold, it was the only unchangeable thing in existence. It was never a question of ‘what if’, no… Theirs was a story etched into the very fabrics of destiny itself, so solidified in stone that no one, not even them, knew when their love had begun, it had just always been.

But with each love story, there must also be tragedy. For fate has a funny way of slapping you in the face when you least expect it. In a world where positives and negatives exist, darkness and light, the world’s opposites… Balance must be maintained.

Each interaction they had, their influence and experiences grew across countless millennia. They watched as humans lived their firefly short lives and crammed an entire existence into one lifetime. They watched as humans became more than what the Gods had intended, and with it birthed intellectual thinking. Humans lived, created and dreamed of impossibly great things which shaped their future.

With humanities evolution a sickness began to fester and warp their fragile and malleable minds. The ugliest parts of their personalities were exposed, for the Gods had given them the gift to feel all emotions and freewill to do with it what they will. But they had never expected that emotions such as greed, hate and jealousy would be the foundations of humanity’s downfall and the cause of many wars.

The Gods, in an attempt to correct their mistakes, nominated Dimitri to live among the humans, to guide and teach them of the rights and wrongs of the world. However, the other Gods never told Dimitri or Azaleea of what he’d have to give up to do this. As Dimitri fell from grace, he was stripped of his memories, he no longer remembered his beloved Azaleea.

She watched from her dimension as Dimitri woke in the human world, surrounded by darkness, and with no memory of the love or hope that Azaleea had given him… she was shattered.

Dimitri lived as a human, his influence changing the hearts of men. His kindness created a ripple effect that set into motion a more righteous path for future generations. Dimitri was unknowingly fulfilling his duty to the Gods restoring peace and balance to the world. But little to his knowledge, Azaleea was working hard to restore his memories, for she could not live in a universe where they were no longer each other’s world.

As time went by, Dimitri walked in the darkness, spreading his light. But that light was no longer as bright as what it once was. Over the decades, it had been absorbed by others, and by the darkness itself, and soon he would fade away, leaving no trace of his existence.

Azaleea became desperate, so she traded her gifts with other Gods in order to get Dimitris memories. Suddenly, Dimitri collapsed on the ground clutching his head as it threatened to explode. When he came to, he remembered everything and Azaleea had traded her emotions, her ability to love, so that he could remember, and this changed everything…

Azaleea was a hollow shell of herself, without laughter, without life. She no longer permitted Dimitri to be close to her, but he would not let her walk this darkness alone, for he remembered what it had been like in the human world. He told her stories of their time together, filling his voice and actions with so much emotion and love, hoping to ignite a spark. Though she knew there was no coming back from this.

And so she fell.

Ironic that she had chosen to fall during the peak of Autumn. Her existence riding the winds, falling in a sea of dead leaves and colors of oranges, reds and browns, as if the leaves knew what she was feeling and decided to fall alongside her. Their jagged and serrated edges, matching the shape of her broken heart. A heart that was shattered into pieces, too many to be fixed. What she hadn’t expected was for Dimitri to fall with her.

***

So they lived with a distance between them, a hundred lifetimes never changing. Azaleea never again felt that love she once had, and Dimitri loved so much that it hurt him each day. She could see the pain he was in each time she pushed him away, but slowly, it became a little easier to be around him and a little easier to accept that things just… are…

Azaleea decided it was ok to be with him, even if she could no longer reciprocate his feelings. She accepted that they were just as fractured as each other, neither of their pieces fitting just right anymore. Eventually they both decided to not force things, and that it was ok to be broken, and with acceptance came peace and a knowledge that no matter what, they would always have each other, no matter what changes they went through.

Dimitri and Azaleea, one never being depicted without the other. Their souls so deeply intertwined that they were two halves of the same coin. Broken and battered, yes… But finally whole.

Veterans Day

By Yodar

Cover by Rawrstar

For this installment of The Libertarian we decided to interview 2 of our members that have been around USDF for quite a while now, Mr Controllable, Secretary Of Defense. And Ms. WalkingBootz, Executive Assistant for the Secretary of Defense.

These 2 individuals are definitely veterans within USDF as well as the working floor. We have the luck of having interviewed them, so here are their responses, as well as some words of advice:

What brought you to apply to USDF in the first place?

Controllable: Well, I was happily retired until I got a message…in Hawaii…from my good friend and future USDF DepSecDef MEXYYY.  She told me that Sycron had returned to Habbo and he opened a military.  I was certain that it was an imposter, but after some investigating I realized that it was in fact Sycron and I couldn’t pass up an opportunity to work for him this time.  I previously worked with DEPTNAV/USN in the Great War of 2008, where I was the SecDef at USSO, a great DEPTNAV ally.

WalkingBootz: Honestly, I first joined USDF with my irl bestie to troll a bit because we were bored. I wont lie, I trolled a bit at first, messed about, etc but soon grew to love USDF and make some great friends here so I stuck around and defo don’t troll any more.

What are some situations or people that has influenced you throughout your service? and why?

Controllable: One of the most influential situations would have to be me being humbly left out of a position during a command reshuffle in 2015.  I was the DIRJS in OSD and the decision was made to remove the role.  I was essentially jobless and had to step down into JSD if I wanted to stay at USDF.  I was one of the first ASD SP&C’s here and through hard work and proving myself, I was able to pave a pathway toward Branch Chief, CJCS, and eventually SecDef!

WalkingBootz: One person that has highly influenced my time within USDF is Ret LtGen, -Rob? he supported me a lot throughout the years, especially when it came to OCS. I was always adamant that I was not going to do OCS because I never thought I’d pass it, but he gave me the confidence to just give it a go. I ended up getting in and passing with my first EOI, so I owe a lot to Rob!

During your service in USDF, appointments aside, what do you consider to be your greatest achievements?

Controllable: I’d say finally stepping into the SecDef role back in 2018.  I had already been 1iC of a successful and large military before (2011-2013 Defense.gov) but this was a different animal.  We accomplished so many amazing things in my first two year stint as SecDef and I am beyond excited to be back in the role and lead USDF to new heights.

WalkingBootz: I think some of the things I’m most proud of are actually being able to play a part in other peoples careers and seeing their achievements. Having been in OJFD for multiple years and various senior command roles, I’ve had the chance to work with and mentor hundreds of people. A lot whom have gone on reach amazing heights, a fair few reaching senior command too. It’s that sort of thing that I look back on and am like yea that’s pretty cool, seeing them grow and develop to lead the next generations of USDF.

If you could start again as an enlisted, what would you have done differently?

Controllable: I’d have been less stubborn about offices.  I was adamant when I came out of retirement here as an Officer in March 2015 to only be in OISA.  I missed out on some great experiences, and in hindsight, I’d have joined other offices and expanded my horizons in offices such as OJSIG or OOT&E!

WalkingBootz: I’d have probably explored more offices. I love OJFD and don’t regret any of the time I spent there but I wish I’d spent a little time exploring and learning about the other offices USDF has to offer, mainly OISA and OMP. I tried to apply for OJSIG many years ago but was told I was too nice.

Any words of advice for any new or old member of USDF that you want to pass on?

Controllable: Of course.  NEVER QUIT!  Odds are, you will come back to USDF anyways but you will at a lower rank or with little RST.  Take a leave or explore the easy opportunities within our reserve components instead!

WalkingBootz: At the end of the day this is all game, make sure you have fun. Try not to stress over things, ask for help when you need it and remember to take naps!

Self Love Journey

By Kruxion

Cover by -Eils
Motivational song lyrics – a journey through self love
“This Is Me”(from “The Greatest Showman” soundtrack)

I’m not a stranger to the dark
Hide away, they say
‘Cause we don’t want your broken parts
I’ve learned to be ashamed of all my scars
Run away, they say
No one will love you as you are

But I won’t let them break me down to dust
I know that there’s a place for us
For we are glorious

When the sharpest words wanna cut me down
I’m gonna send a flood, gonna drown them out
I am brave, I am bruised
I am who I’m meant to be, this is me
Look out ’cause here I come
And I’m marching on to the beat I drum
I’m not scared to be seen
I make no apologies, this is me
Another round of bullets hits my skin
Well, fire away ’cause today, I won’t let the shame sink in
We are bursting through the barricadesAnd reaching for the sun (we are warriors)
Yeah, that’s what we’ve become

Won’t let them break me down to dust
I know that there’s a place for us
For we are glorious

When the sharpest words wanna cut me down
Gonna send a flood, gonna drown them out
I am brave, I am bruised
I am who I’m meant to be, this is me

Look out ’cause here I come
And I’m marching on to the beat I drum
I’m not scared to be seen
I make no apologies, this is me

…This is me
And I know that I deserve your love
There’s nothing I’m not worthy of
When the sharpest words wanna cut me down
I’m gonna send a flood, gonna drown them out
This is brave, this is bruised
This is who I’m meant to be, this is me

Look out ’cause here I come (look out ’cause here I come)
And I’m marching on to the beat I drum (marching on, marching, marching on)
I’m not scared to be seen
I make no apologies, this is me

(Whenever the words wanna cut me down
I’ll send the flood to drown them out)
I’m gonna send the flood, gonna drown them out

This is me

Greetings!

Although at the USDF I am Major Kruxion, you can call me Nicholas. I’ll be talking about a challenging subject today: accepting and loving yourself. It is a widespread problem that primarily affects young people, although it also has an impact on adults. It is no secret that the media and society’s expectations cause people to lose their self-esteem and feel insecure, to the point where some of them even hate themselves. In order to help you if you are struggling as well, today I want to share with you my path through self-love and acceptance.

My life was not simple; I lived in many foster homes until being adopted at roughly the age of nine. Since I was adopted, I have not experienced life as I had hoped, which has left me with a personality filled with insecurities. It was natural for me to let others get the best of me since I had experienced mistreatment in the past, whether it was at school when I was bullied or in a toxic relationship. I didn’t like who I was, and I frequently felt inadequate. Growing up, I went through a lot of change. I came to the conclusion that loving myself was better since I am the one person I will spend my entire life with.

I started putting myself first and have established a routine for appreciating who I am, whether it be by taking care of myself or doing what I liked the most. Over time, I developed a carefree and indifferent personality — in a good manner. This implies that I disregarded everything that other people said or did to me that was hurtful or aimed to make me feel bad. I’ve only listened to those who were there to encourage me and provide me helpful critique. I was able to choose my friends carefully and accurately using this strategy, and I only spent time with those who were deserving of it.

I began valuing who I am and my difficult background, including my flaws — both physical and psychological — and began making the necessary improvements. I’ve come to understand that I should be grateful for everything because without it all, I would not be the person I am today and the one I love. The purpose of this post is to help you realize how important it is to value every aspect of who you are. This will help you treat yourself properly and prevent you from placing the blame on yourself where it isn’t appropriate. Only assume responsibility for mistakes that you can prove you have made.

If you find yourself alone, don’t be afraid to contact your friends or me, but also cherish your alone time and remember that you are a masterpiece despite all of your flaws and insecurities.

Treat yourself well now, tomorrow, next month, next years.

You deserve better.

You deserve love.

Black Friday

Black Friday Sales!

Doorbuster deals
Better come early and set up a tent overnight or days prior! These deals are hot, you want to make sure you get all these great finds! Usually, this day occurs the day after Thanksgiving, however lately the deals have been coming even earlier in recent years. Retail has been on fire and people have been consuming! You can find plenty of electronics, video games, and various such items. From home goods to fishing poles, you can find plenty of things for sale on Black Friday.

As you may have guessed, Black Friday was not always about retail. It goes back to the 1950s. Unfortunately for Philadelphia, it was a term they came up with to describe the chaos that occurred there. Of course, for all you college football fans out there, there was the chaos that ensued when the hordes of people came into the city for the big Army-Navy game held on Saturday every year!

You may be thinking why Black Friday? Well… in 1961 it just caught on and it is still going strong in 2022. Black Friday was caught everywhere else by the 1980s. From the 1980s to now, retailers just transformed Black Friday into what it is now, resulting in the stores turning a profit. Soon following Black Friday were many other retail days such as Small Business Saturday/Sunday and Cyber Monday.

Hey guys, CWO5 Gumby speaking here! I am here to speak about my personal experiences on Black Friday! I have been out there a couple of times at midnight for some sales. One year my brother, mother, and I went to Walmart. We found some games for sale and got these pretty awesome mini fridges that held like 6 cans in there. Relatively cheap prices and there were many people there ahead of time as well. Lines were forming for televisions and various items. Sadly, no fights occurred when I was there. Good for my mom, but I lowkey wanted to see something happen.

With the holiday around the corner and Black Friday the day after, what is your goal? Eat then shop? Or Eat, sleep, and shop? Eat, sleep, eat some more, then shop? Let me know what kinds of stuff you are looking forward to purchasing! Do not forget to get me (Gumby) a gift. Enjoy your holiday, and look forward to the next Holiday!

Holiday Plans

By Dan.K

Cover by -Eils

Hi there, person reading The Libertarian! This is Dan.K, if you see me on the radio you should tune in maybe, also join OPA at E4+ and DM me @ Dan.K#2852 if you are E5+ and want to be in Army Events. So basically this is a summary of how my holiday plans usually go. I hope you enjoy it. I was not forced to do this!

Throughout my life my holiday plans were not really special. My family likes to take a more religious approach to the occasion, so usually later during the night on Christmas Eve we find ourselves at church. I can’t really remember a time where we went to a true vacation spot to enjoy our winter holidays. I think maybe just out west a couple of times? One of the go to spots for people from my area to go to are the Mountain resorts, with its water theme parks, forest preserves, skiing, and snowboarding. I think I’ve been there once or twice during the holidays way back, but honestly I don’t really remember when that exactly was. Other than that the plans have been the same every year basically. My mom has two sisters. We always have Christmas at her younger sister’s house. We have dinner there on Christmas Eve and Day. We open presents after dinner on Christmas Eve. Sometimes I’ve opened presents or given a present earlier cause I’m impatient!

For New Years I usually would go to a friend’s party or my family’s party. My parents sometimes like to go to events in ballrooms or hotels I think for that too. I haven’t been to many of those though, I can only remember one. New Year’s parties are always fun because of the countdown though. I feel like it’s one of the more important nights because of the significance of the year change. The last time I think I was just at my friend’s parents house because they were out of town. How it is with my friends is if we do manage to make plans it’s basically going to be last minute, and things might fall through or not everyone ends up making it. So this year as of right now I have no idea what my plans are. Maybe I will end up going with one of them somewhere downtown or in the northern area of where I live. Now that I’m thinking about it I could suggest somewhere and I’m sure at least one of my friends would be up for doing it. That’s a lot of work though, hmm. I also want to save up and prepare for a trip I want to do sometime around March. I’m looking forward to that trip a lot more. I guess I could do both. Maybe just a road trip somewhere close by that we normally don’t go to. Or I’ll just stay home. Yeah, I think I’ll stay home. Just kidding, we’ll see cause I’m not totally sure what I want to do at this point. Anyway, thanks for reading The Libertarian reader person! We appreciate you!

From the moment we became XOs, I am grateful to have you around me, Ethan. We had our high and low moments, but I’m grateful to have someone as supportive as you in this military. Happy Thanksgiving.

Sven, words can never truly express the amount of respect and appreciation that I feel towards you. While I haven’t known you for long, it feels like I have known you for years. In 4 short (but what feel like very long) months, there hasn’t been a day that’s gone by where you haven’t been there to talk to me, listen to me and just be a friend that I can lean on. I’ve learnt much from you and still am learning much from you. The kindness you show towards others is completely infectious and you inspire me to do what’s right even when it isn’t easy. Putting others above yourself all the time is so selfless and something that I witness you execute everyday not just towards me but to so many others around you. I hope you realise how amazing you are and how much weight the goodness that you towards others holds.

Thank you for your kindness! ”Love and kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference.

They bless the who receives them, and they bless you, the giver.” -Barbara de Angelis.

I also had something else planned for you honestly but I think that that isn’t gonna actually come to you which is pretty sad, or maybe one day it still will? Who knows? Let’s just say it’s gonna be a suprise, because you deserve it because you helped me through my hard times when I got back in AF, so you really should feel appriciated and keep up the amazing work, you’re the best CSAF the branch could have ever wished for.

FROM: Ssaturday

TO: Navita

Navita, I have faced a huge challenge recently and it’s all finally come to an end…with your help, even tho you were there when I got demoted <_<, and then became VCSAF, you actually helped me back in OISA again..you were kinda my voice for me. I did not expect that you would help me at all and I wanna thank you because I am now in OISA again, and probably wouldn’t be if you did not help me, so thank you. You probably helped more than you think you did, thank you for being awesome.

Whenever i am demotivated nor having problems on my own, i would always rant it to you and always lends an ear to listen. I am forever grateful to have a friend like you who always encourages me, giving advises, always telling me not to be discourage/not giving up on achieving my goals.

You’ve been such an amazing friend to me for a while now. Always pushing me to do better and always willing to give me advice or helping me with things. Sometimes people need that push for them to finally get to where they want to be, which you did and I’m honestly grateful for that. You really are someone I look up to and someone I can go to for anything, even if you are a big noob

(Can you believe it’s nearly 2 years)! You’ve stuck by me throughout everything, whether it be habbo/ USDF related or irl related. Even though we don’t talk much lately (because of me), I know you’re always a message away and I’m always gonna be that too. You’re always gonna be one of my best friends no matter what happens.
